She is known for folky originals combining acoustic guitar fingerpicking, story-telling lyrics, and a soulful voice that makes you feel all the feelings. She now resides in Nashville, TN and frequently tours the US.Īmanda Cogan – Amanda Cogan is a San Diego native who has been playing in the music scene for 10 + years and running local open mics for almost as long. She was nominated in her hometown for San Diego Music Awards best country/Americana artist of 2020. Struggling to connect with the modern top 40 hits, she drowned herself in the various genres of the ’50s through ’70s analog era and took a plunge into the roots revival scene. Kimmi Bitter may be considered an artist born in the wrong era. Styling her songs around the classic sounds of Patsy Cline, Elvis, and Linda Ronstadt, the San Diego native’s music features a California take on traditional country and soul. Admission to the event with be $5 and free for 16 and under. The fine art exhibition will run from 10AM until 5PM on Saturday, November 7 and Sunday, November 8. Tickets are available HERE!ĪrtWalk Liberty Station will be held at Liberty Station’s North Promenade at 2641 Truxton Road and Legacy Plaza and Luce Court at 2648 Dewey Road. There is a $5 admission fee for ArtWalk Liberty Station, with those under 18 admitted free. Each artist booth will be spaced a minimum of 8-feet apart along with a 12 to 15 foot wide walkway to allow for proper physical distancing. Numerous health precautions have been put into place in accordance with the CDC Guidelines and the San Diego Events Coalition including the requirement of facial coverings and temperature checks for all attendees, artists, volunteers and participants, frequent cleaning and sanitation of restrooms, hand-sanitizing stations and more. The fine art exhibition will take place in the heart of Liberty Station, surrounded by the beautifully landscaped park-like setting with picturesque gardens and a show-stopping fountain. 150 artists at the heart of Liberty Station A symbol of hope for the community, ArtWalk is San Diego’s first art show since March and the first approved exhibition of its kind in an outdoor space.
